The context for the emergence of this group (or groups, if we count the “educated” freeter and the hyper-excluded as distinct) is that the formal economy is declining in scale across the world, leaving more and more people outside of or marginal to it. In mainstream political science scholarship, a similar stratum – usually identified as educated, un/underemployed, and socially frustrated – has been identified as the agent of autonomous activism in Europe (Clark 1996), of East Asian communist movements (reference misplaced), and of a wide range of ethnic revivalist and nationalist movements (Smith 1979). ![]() In India, pressures reminiscent of the 1968 rebellions are stirring in the cities as the situation of single youths runs up against conservative values (Chakravarthy 2007). One might in other circumstances say that this group is the main constituency of the Afghan and Pakistani (neo-)Taleban (Giustozzi 2007) and of Islamism in Egypt (Slackman 2008). In Iran, there is an entire dissident counterculture emerging from a similarly situated stratum of young people (Zanganeth ed 2006). It is one of the most common constituencies of radical and insurgent political movements across the spectrum, and its peculiar situation – slipping outside the segmentary linear functioning of identity-narratives of paid work, consumer affluence and (nuclear) family – places it at the forefront of historical transformation. Whatever its name, this stratum is politically important. Similarly, “precariat” and “precarity” have emerged as terms in the discourse in Europe, signifying marginal workers and non-workers as distinct from full-time, well-paid workers. In post-autonomism, "emarginati" has some similar connotations, though it refers mainly to those within the group who have (marginal) work. The term "neet" is sometimes used in English, meaning “not in employment or education” in Blairite-neoliberal rhetoric, “neet” are viewed as a problem. Such a person is caught in a kind of social limbo between social statuses, and appear discursively and socially as perennial agents of revolt – “youths” form the backbone of most protests, the footsoldiers of political parties, the recruits for resistance and opposition movements, etc. In Africa, the term “youth” is often extended to members of a similar category – young people (especially but not exclusively men) who are too old to be classified as children who are expected to have potential support, but who have not entered into the socially-recognised categories of adulthood by getting a well-paid job. Many of those participating in similar protests in European countries doubtless come from a similar social position. In Japan, the Freeters General Union is a political body with a broadly autonomist and anti-neoliberal perspective, which organizes initiatives such as Mayday demonstrations and anti-government protests (see ). This is the stratum which provides most of the participants in autonomous activism throughout the global North. The Japanese are unusual in giving it a name. Although the Japanese have coined a term for the group, they exist all over the world, and are a social force of underestimated and growing importance. Hard to beat that for highly imbalanced problems. If your evaluation metric really is the Hamming loss, then you might actually be better off predicting just the majority for each binary problem. I take it you have reduced the problem into 100, binary classification problems? That would be a standard way to do things in the multilabel setting. Consider telling family and friends that you are due “sometime in May” rather than on a specific day in order to prevent a daily barrage of phone calls near the end of your pregnancy. If you are “overdue,” just count it as more time to establish a bond with your baby, to prepare mentally for parenthood, to discuss your support person’s role during the birth, and to ready your home for your baby’s arrival. Remember: Your due date is an estimate of when you will give birth, not a guarantee. When you let your baby choose their own birthday, it means they’re really ready to begin life outside the womb. But dont worry if the due date changes or you go in labor on a different date - only 4 of babies are born on their due date and 80 are born either two weeks before and after the date. If a baby is born before week 37, its called a premature birth. Research has shown that a first-time birth resulting from an induction is twice as likely to result in a cesarean as when labor starts on its own. That is 266 days from the conception date. Induction isn’t without risks for you, either. The conception date is the date upon which a female became pregnant, when a fetus was conceived. ![]() These “near-term” infants (as they are known) can have trouble breathing, staying warm, and breastfeeding, and they often need special hospital care after birth. But because the due date is unreliable in the first place, inducing the baby may cause them to be born too soon. Many people (and their health care providers) become so attached to their due date that when the baby doesn’t come on that day, they schedule an induction. The only thing you’ll know for sure is that you should give birth within two weeks before or after that day. Take note of the word “approximate ” your baby will grow and mature on their own schedule. ![]() Your approximate due date is that day within the next year. Babies have a gestational period of about 280 days, so count back three months from the first day of your last period and add seven more days. If you do know the date of your last period, try the following calculation, called Naegele’s Rule. In fact, there’s really no need for a sonogram to determine a due date unless you don’t know the date of your last period. So, while many health-care providers keep giving ultrasounds to reassess the due date throughout pregnancy, the date is actually becoming less accurate as time goes by. Until 13 weeks of gestation, most babies grow at the same rate, but as pregnancy progresses, fetal size corresponds less and less to the amount of time that the baby is in the womb. A date based on an ultrasound can be off by a week or more depending on the skill of the technician, the timing of the sonogram and the size of the baby. Many health-care providers use a sonogram to pinpoint your due date, but don’t be swayed by technology. For the other 90 percent of pregnant people, what does your due date really mean? Your baby doesn’t have a calendar, however, so it is no surprise that less than ten percent of babies actually arrive on the date they are due. Unfortunately, a specified due date has made everyone (family and friends included) place too much emphasis on a precise day-to the point that they plan their life around it. For earlier generations of women, the concept of a due date was “around Thanksgiving” or “late fall.” As birth moved from home to hospital, women were given the approximate date when they should expect to be confined to a hospital bed, called the “estimated date of confinement.” Eventually, this term evolved into “expected date of delivery,” now called “due date.” ![]() In turn, your play style will be further customized.
